People had to walk with vehicle lights on in the morning. Due to this, the day temperature fell by 6.9 degrees and the maximum temperature was recorded at 19.0 degrees Celsius. Due to clouds, the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.8 degrees Celsius, which was 4.2 degrees above normal. However, the weather became normal after light sunshine emerged in the afternoon. Crops have suffered a lot due to rain.

A day earlier on Monday, the sunshine had increased the maximum temperature throughout the day, giving people relief from the cold. Meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that a chain of clouds has formed due to the combination of western disturbance and an anti cyclone late at night. Apart from this, moisture has come from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, due to which there was rainfall. There will be fluctuations in temperature in the coming two-three days. From Friday onwards there will be sunshine during the day while it will remain cold in the morning and evening.
