Despite the passage of a week, police teams have not been successful in catching him. The SOG team of the district has examined the footage of CCTV cameras installed along the highway. Scrap mafia and notorious gangster Ravindra Nagar alias Ravi Kana, resident of Dadupur, Dankaur, Greater Noida, was transferred from Gautam Buddha Nagar jail to Banda Mandal Jail in August 2024. He was released from the jail here at 6:39 pm on Thursday evening. In which the CJM Court of Gautam Buddha Nagar has adopted a strict stance and has sought clarification from the Jail Superintendent till February 6. In which questions have been raised about releasing the accused even after the case of demanding extortion is pending.

DG Prison Lucknow had suspended jailer Vikram Singh Yadav. On the complaint of jail post incharge Anup Pandey, a case has been registered in Kotwali Nagar against jail superintendent Anil Singh Gautam, suspended jailer Vikram Singh Yadav and unknown jail employees. Also, police teams from 15 districts including Noida have been deployed for surveillance to catch the mafia.

Is busy tracking the mafia. If sources are to be believed, after searching the jail, SOG has searched the CCTV footage till Chilla Bypass and Ghatampur. SOG has raided potentially half a dozen places. In the matter of the mafia’s release from jail, a special five-member team formed under the leadership of ASP Shivraj is also collecting evidence as to what is the fault of the jail officers and personnel. In which the team formed has secured mafia related documents and footage from the jail.

Statements of prisoners, jail officials and jail staff have also been taken. SP said that the team formed is investigating the matter. The facts that will emerge in the investigation report. It will be compiled and sent to Lucknow headquarters. On the basis of which further action will be decided.
