When will the BPSC teacher recruitment notification come?

BPSC will soon release the notification for the fourth phase teacher recruitment examination. According to the information received, the Commission can issue government job notification in late February or early March. After the release of the notification, candidates preparing for government jobs will be able to get necessary information related to recruitment by visiting the official website of BPSC, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. With this the online application process will start. For the appointment of teachers in schools, the department has received details of vacant posts from more than 44 districts.

Before this, Director of Secondary Education Sajjan R. had directed all the district education officers to send the roster register to the District Program Officer and the roster expert to the office of the Education Department by January 5. After receiving the details of teacher vacancy, now preparations for issuing the notification have started.

Qualification for Bihar teacher recruitment

Qualification will vary according to PGT, TGT and PRT posts. For primary teacher, one must have passed 12th. At the same time, for a middle school teacher, it is also necessary to have a two-year diploma in elementary education along with Bachelor. For the post of Secondary Teacher, there should be a graduation degree with 2 years of education. Similarly, for the post of Higher Secondary Teacher, candidates should have a Master’s degree and 2 years education graduation degree. However, information related to educational qualification, age limit, eligibility etc. will be given to the candidates through detailed notification.

2.27 lakh teachers recruited in 2 years

In Bihar, more than 2.27 lakh youth have been appointed to teacher posts through the last three phases of Teacher Recruitment Exam (BPSC TRE). JDU has also given information about the teacher recruitment done in the last two years along with the early reinstatement of more than 44,000 teachers. The post reads, ‘Nitish government is fully committed to empowering quality education in Bihar, more than 2,27,000 teachers have been appointed in three phases in the last two years.’ Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission for latest updates.
