Wind will blow at a speed of 80 kmph

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the intensity of the storm during this time may remain high and the wind speed may reach up to 80 km per hour. Due to this stormy wind there is every possibility of damaging the crops of the farmers. Hence, people have been appealed to be cautious and especially avoid going to forested areas or fields. Eastern states may also experience lightning incidents, which requires caution.

These 21 states will be on high alert

Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Ladakh, West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim, Maharashtra, Assam, Tripura, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Temperature and conditions in major cities

Delhi

Chances of light rain and strong thunderstorm have been expressed. The maximum temperature in the capital tomorrow is expected to be 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 30 degrees Celsius.

Uttar Pradesh

Yellow alert has been given in areas including Noida, Meerut, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow. Wind speed of 70-80 kmph may occur in some areas of Uttar Pradesh.

Bihar

Heavy rain has been warned in districts including Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur. A wind speed of 60-65 kmph has been predicted in Bihar.

Jharkhand

Thunderstorm alert with heavy rain has been given in Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad.

Rajasthan

The meteorological department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorm in areas including Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur.

Light to moderate rain at isolated places in Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Narmada, Tapi, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Dang districts of Gujarat on 26 June 2026.
