Winds will blow at a speed of 62 to 87 kmph in these districts. Apart from this, light to moderate rain with thunder may occur in Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Dahod, Panchmahal, Ahmedabad, Anand, Botad, Porbandar.

Southwest Monsoon has advanced over the remaining parts of Central Arabian Sea, parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, parts of Telangana and Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and parts of Bihar today on 23 June 2026. The northern limit of monsoon passes through Dahanu, Wardha, Raipur, Daltonganj, Motihari. Conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon over North Arabian Sea and parts of Gujarat, parts of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, parts of Madhya Pradesh during next 2-3 days; Monsoon may advance over Jharkhand and rest of Bihar, some parts of Uttar Pradesh during next 3-4 days.

A seasonal trough at mean sea level now extends from northern Rajasthan to Bihar in Uttar Pradesh. A trough in the central and upper tropical western regions with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level extends from the northern parts of central Uttar Pradesh to north Gujarat in Rajasthan. There is an upper air cyclonic circulation at 3.1 km above sea level over North Gujarat and vicinity. A trough from North Gujarat to West Central Arabian Sea became less pronounced over Saurashtra at 3.1 km above mean sea level yesterday. South-west to westerly winds are prevailing at low level in this state.
