Indian youth have once again captured the world in their grasp in the high-voltage final of the Under-19 World Cup 2026. India defeated England by 100 runs in this match. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Indian team scored a huge score of 411 runs, in which young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a devastating inning of 175 runs in just 80 balls. This innings of Vaibhav included 15 sixes and 15 fours. Apart from him, captain Ayush Mhatre added a useful 53 runs in the middle order. In response to this big target, the England team fought hard, but due to the precise strategy of the Indian bowlers, they were limited to 311 runs.

The catch that won the World Cup

In the last moments of this breath-taking match, when England needed runs in the last over to win, Kanishk Chauhan, with his magical bowling, created the opportunity for which crores of Indian fans were waiting.
