condition of first innings
After winning the toss, the Pakistani team came to bowl first and proved the decision of captain Salman Ali Aga right. The Netherlands team, which at one time had scored 100 runs till the 12th over, fell apart like a pack of cards in front of the Pakistani spinners. At one time in this match, it seemed that the Netherlands team would easily score more than 170 runs, but their entire team was limited to 147 runs in 19.5 overs.
Dutch innings collapse, 127/4 all out for 147 runs
Netherlands started the match aggressively. Michael Levitt (24) and captain Scott Edwards (37) batted solidly, but Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Nawaz tightened the noose in the middle order. Netherlands was moving towards the score of 170+ at one time, but the last 6 wickets fell within just 20 runs. Abrar Ahmed broke the back of Netherlands by dismissing frozen batsmen like Colin Ackerman and Scott Edwards. Apart from this, Sam Ayub completely turned the match towards Pakistan by taking two wickets in a single over.
