NTA has launched the official WhatsApp channel for June 21 NEET-UG re-examination. This will help students get accurate information and avoid rumours, along with the new admit card is mandatory.
NEET Re-exam 21 June: A very important step has been taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA) regarding the medical entrance exam NEET-UG. NTA has launched an official WhatsApp channel to ensure that lakhs of students appearing for the NEET-UG re-exam to be held on June 21 do not fall prey to any misinformation, rumor or misinformation. Through this channel, candidates will get all the accurate and official details related to the exam directly on their mobile.
Giving this information on social media platform X on Friday, NTA said that this digital service has been started to increase the convenience and transparency of students.

Important Clarification Regarding Admit Card
The NTA has also made it clear on social media that candidates who have downloaded their new Admit Card for the June 21 exam, do not need to download it again.
At present, only those students who have not yet downloaded their new admit cards are being contacted by the agency through SMS, e-mail and WhatsApp. According to the agency’s data, around 22 lakh students had registered for NEET-UG this year, of which around 20 lakh students have downloaded the admit cards for the June 21 exam.
Old admit card will not be considered valid
The most important news for the examinees is that the old admit cards released for the examination held on May 3 will not be accepted for the June 21 examination. After the cancellation of the May 3 exam, the NTA gave students the option to choose exam centers in their preferred cities. As a large number of students have availed this facility, many candidates have been allotted new examination centers. Therefore, it is mandatory for every student to carry the new admit card.
Note down the official SMS ID and e-mail address
NTA has also released the official communication IDs for students to avoid being cheated:
- Official Sender SMS ID: NICPEP (The correct SMS will come from this ID)
- Official E-mail ID: no-reply.neet.nta@nic.in
Official website
Only for the whole process [http://neet.nta.nic.in](http://neet.nta.nic.in) It is the official portal. Candidates are advised to login directly by typing this URL in browser instead of search engine.
No reply can be given in advance on WhatsApp
NTA has clarified that this WhatsApp feature is a broadcast-only channel. That means the agency will only be able to send information, students will not be able to give any response.
The most important caveat: NTA never asks for any OTP, personal information or bank payment from students on WhatsApp. If someone asks for such information in the name of NTA, understand that the message is completely fake.
