According to the landing page that went live on the company’s official website, the powerful smartphone will be officially launched in India on July 8. Along with the India launch, the Lenovo-owned brand has lifted the veil on the phone’s likely price, design and all its key specifications. The phone will be made available for sale in India through e-commerce platform Flipkart.
Price and premium design
According to the information and footnotes available on the website, Moto G77 Power will be priced below ₹30,000 in the Indian market. This smartphone will enter the market with a premium look. According to the teaser, customers will get this handset in three attractive color options – Black, Blue and Red. The company has specified that the phone will come with a vegan leather finish back panel in Pantone-curated colors, which will give it a very premium and comfortable grip.
Great display and durability
The Moto G77 Power features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ display, which comes with a concentric hole-punch cutout design. The screen supports a refresh rate of 120Hz for smooth scrolling and gaming experience. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for strength and security. Apart from this, the phone is designed with a MIL-STD-810H certified build to enhance its strength and durability, keeping it safe even in harsh conditions.
Camera setup
This phone has a great camera setup for photography enthusiasts. It has a dual rear camera setup at the back, with a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia-600 main camera sensor. It also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera for taking wide shots. A powerful 32-megapixel camera is provided on the front of the phone for selfies and video calling.
Battery, operating system and other features
The biggest highlight of this phone is its massive 7,000mAh battery. The company claims that this battery can provide a great battery life of up to three consecutive days once fully charged.
As for the software, this upcoming smartphone runs on the company’s own Hello UI based on Android 16. Motorola has also officially promised the upcoming Android 17 update to this device to provide longer software support to the customers.
To enhance the audio experience, the phone features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res Audio certification. The 3.5mm headphone jack, which has disappeared from many phones these days, has also been retained in this model.
Comparison with global model
It is important to note here that Motorola launched the ‘Moto G77’ standard model in the global markets earlier this year, priced at GBP 250 around ₹31,700. The global variant comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, a 5,200mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging, a 6.78-inch display and a 108-megapixel main camera. In comparison, the ‘Power’ variant being launched in India has been specially designed to meet the needs of Indian consumers with a larger battery and a different camera sensor.
