Ahmedabad News: In Gujarat, women from small children are constantly busy with their phones. This has increased their screen time to 8 hours with constant mobile usage. Hence the incidence of cyber fraud has increased significantly. Therefore, with the aim of solving this problem, the police has now started Operation Safe Cyber Space. Under this, 45 lakh people including 20 lakh children, women and youths will be given 30 days training.
Training will be given from 1 to 30 July
Constables of the police department have been given the responsibility of door-to-door distribution of leaflets to create awareness among the people about cyber security. Increasing incidence of defamation due to fake profiles
In Gujarat, cases of defamation by creating fake IDs of women and girls with fake profiles have increased significantly. In Gujarat every year more than 1 thousand to 1200 women have been blackmailed by making fake IDs and making obscene photo-videos on social media. Women do not file FIRs for fear of being defamed. In such cases, Gujarat is number 5 in the country.
Campaign will be conducted in 1500 colleges
Also campaign will be conducted in 10 thousand schools and more than 1500 colleges. Under this project, more than 1 lakh girls will be made aware of cyber stalking, and 20 lakh people will be informed about the dangers of deepfake. She teams will go to societies and provide special training to involve people including women in this project.
