The fierce fire that broke out in a commercial complex in Aliganj had taken on a monstrous form. So far 18 innocent people have lost their lives in this horrific fire incident. The whole incident has brought back memories of the earlier fire tragedies in Gujarat’s Surat and Rajkot, in which a total of 47 people lost their lives.

The fire started from the coaching center, the entire building became a fireball

According to information, the fire first started from a coaching center in the building. The fire, caused by a short circuit or some other reason, spread so quickly that the whole multi-storied building was engulfed in flames. Not only the coaching center, but many other commercial activities were also bustling in this complex.

The complex had a coaching center (where students were studying), a gaming zone (where children and youth were playing), a library and a pet shop.

After the fire, there was chaos in the building. Amidst billows of smoke and flames, people started screaming for their lives. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire brigade team and the local police fleet rushed to the spot. Rescue operations were launched on war footing and the injured have been admitted to the famous KGMU (King George Medical University) Hospital in Lucknow for immediate treatment, where many are said to be in critical condition.

The fire was so terrible that innocent students jumped from the fourth floor windows to save their lives, the sight of which made the whole country cry.
