Fire In Coaching Centre: A massive fire broke out in the coaching sector in Lucknow this afternoon. At least 18 students have died in this incident. Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak has reached the spot. The fire brigade teams are continuously working on the rescue operation to safely bring out the children inside after controlling the fire. On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered all the officials to take immediate rescue action keeping in mind the seriousness of the incident.

An eyewitness to the fire incident told us that there is a library or a computer course institute here. When we reached here, we saw smoke coming out of the building. We rescued 5-6 people. After the fire, one person jumped from the building, and was seriously injured. Some people are still trapped inside.
Chief Minister Adityanath ordered strict action
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered strict action against the culprits in the incident. Superintendent of Police and Chief Secretary (Home) have been ordered to visit the spot. The Chief Minister clarified that the two officers will inspect the incident site and submit a detailed report on the malpractice directly to the Chief Minister.

Eyewitnesses present at the scene said that many children were inside at the time of the incident. When the fire started, they started jumping down. Numerous photos and videos of the incident have also circulated online.
District Magistrate Visakha Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) North Twinkle Jain and several other officials have reached the spot. Rescue workers are engaged in rescue operations with the help of about a dozen fire engines and hydraulic platforms.
