State Bureau, Lucknow. In the Legislative Council on Thursday, independent group member Raj Bahadur Singh Chandel raised the issue of giving honorarium to subject expert teachers in their accounts.
Said that the honorarium of these teachers goes to the management. They do not give them full honorarium. Instead of 11 months, honorarium is given only for eight-10 months. To stop this rigging, it is necessary that the honorarium should go directly into the teachers’ accounts.
BJP’s Devendra Pratap Singh also supported it and suggested payment through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
Minister of State for Secondary Education Gulab Devi said that there is no system of direct payment. On this, Chairman Kunwar Manvendra Singh said that it should be ensured that teachers get full honorarium.
