State Bureau, Lucknow. UP Budget 2026 A major part of the budget of more than Rs 9 lakh crore is expected to go to half the population. Additional funds can be given in the budget for schemes to connect women with entrepreneurship. The government will take forward the scheme of women’s hostel in every district.
Along with the allocation of funds for hostels in all the districts, some new schemes can also be announced. Budget will also be given to open Kasturba Gandhi Girls School in all development blocks.
In the budget, it can be announced to increase the pension of old age, widows, destitute women, disabled people and to give scooties to meritorious girl students.
To remove the backwardness of Purvanchal and Bundelkhand, the government is going to give them more money through development fund. Apart from getting about two thousand crore rupees in the funds of these two sectors, there is talk of giving priority in departmental schemes also.
Budget will be given earlier for police, public works, basic and secondary education, metro and infrastructure facilities. Under the Accelerated Economic Development Scheme, Rs 2,000 crore can be given for new infrastructure projects.
To improve the infrastructure facilities of industrial areas, the government can provide Rs 4,000 crore under the Atal Industrial Infrastructure Mission.
According to the orders of the Supreme Court, the government can also make provision in the budget to increase the honorarium of instructors from Rs. 9 thousand to about Rs. 17 thousand.
