UP News: UP Board exam from tomorrow, 53 lakh students will appear, centers will be under strict surveillance

State Bureau, Jagran, Prayagraj. The written examination of High School and Intermediate of UP Board is starting from 18th February, which will run till 12th March at 8033 centers of the state. All the centers and their strong rooms are being monitored online 24 hours a day through CCTV. For this, state level command and control rooms have been created in UP Board Headquarters Prayagraj and Lucknow. Apart from this, monitoring of the strong rooms of the centers has been started from the control rooms located at five regional offices and all the district headquarters.

1210 Sector and 427 Zonal Magistrates (total 1637) have been appointed to inspect the centres. Apart from these, 440 mobile teams and 69 divisional mobile teams (total 509) will reach the centers and inspect during the examination.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift examination will be held from 8.30 am to 11.45 am and the second shift will be held from 2.00 pm to 5.15 pm. 27,61,696 students are registered to appear in the high school examination and 25,76,082 students are registered for the intermediate examination.

This total number is 53,37,778. In view of the security of question papers in the strong rooms of the examination centres, duty of employees/officers has been deployed in three shifts division wise in the Command and Control Room of UP Board Headquarters for online monitoring.

Deputy Secretary Administration Debabrata Singh has been made co-nodal officer at the headquarters. 18 supervisors have been deployed for divisional supervision of the centers and 75 state level supervisors have been deployed for district supervision.
