Jagran correspondent, Mahoba. The bike of the people who were going to receive the Prasad of Bhandara was hit by a speeding Thar coming from the front. According to eyewitnesses, the car was coming at a speed of about 90-100 kmph. The nephew riding the bike died in the accident. While brother, sister and niece were injured. All three have been referred to the Medical College, Jhansi. The police have taken possession of the car and the dead body and have started further action. The relatives are upset with the incident.
On Thursday, 35-year-old Suresh, resident of village Kahara of Kabrai police station area, along with his sister 40-year-old Shakuntala, resident of village Bhatwer, nephew 11-year-old Divyansh and niece 13-year-old Anushka, were going on a bike to receive the offerings of Bhandara organized in village Sirsikala. On the way, near Shivhare petrol pump located near village Chhanikala police station Kabrai on Kanpur Sagar Highway, a Thar car hit the bike hard from the front. After the accident, a crowd gathered on the highway and informed the police.
The collision was so severe that the bike rider was thrown far away. The bike rider was not wearing a helmet. The nephew died on the spot in the accident. Brother, sister and niece were brought to the district hospital with the help of passersby and police. Here, doctor Dr. Deepak referred all three to Jhansi Medical College after first aid.
The hospital administration kept the body safe and informed the police. Police have seized the car. The driver fled from the spot. Police Station Head Kabrai Satyavendra Singh said that further action is being taken. The relatives of the deceased are distraught over the incident.
