A student of OBC category named Adarsh ​​Kumar had shared pictures and videos of the program organized in support of UGC from his Facebook account. Angered by this post, students from another group carried out this incident.

The victim student Adarsh ​​told that he is a first year MA student and is studying History. Due to the beating, he suffered serious injuries on his stomach and head. Adarsh ​​also told that the attackers had threatened him. Students of political science and sociology were involved in this incident.
