The train had crossed Bhimsen station after the stone pelting. The train was stopped at Orai station. FIR has been registered against unknown stone pelters at RPF Post Bhimsen.

Mahakal Express left from Govindpuri towards Bhimsen at 9 pm on Sunday night. The train had traveled 15 minutes when stones were pelted at it. . Panic spread among the passengers due to stone pelting on the train. This information was given to the control room. When the train reached Orai station, it was checked and the glass of the coach was broken. The train stopped for 20 minutes at Orai station. After this he was sent to Indore. RPF Post Bhimsen in-charge Ajay Kumar said that an FIR has been registered and investigation has been started.
