The bodies of the children were buried by digging a pit near the funeral pyre at Brahmanda Ghat.

In Khapparpur of Mahavan police station area, farmer Manish committed suicide by electrocuting himself after killing his wife and children late on Monday night. The incident spread sensation in the village. A crowd of villagers and nearby villages gathered at the spot since morning. Police from many police stations were also deployed.

There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire village due to the death of husband, wife and three children of the same family. Even the stoves in the houses did not burn. Since morning, women kept sitting outside Manish’s house and mourning.

After the post-mortem, the five bodies reached the village at 8.30 pm. As soon as the dead body arrived, the screams of women started echoing once again. The villagers also had tears in their eyes after seeing the five dead bodies. Preparations for the funeral were started at night.

Taking out the funeral procession of the three children along with their parents, the villagers and their relatives reached Brahmand Ghat. Here, in the presence of the police, a pit was dug and the three children were buried. After this the couple were cremated on the same pyre. The funeral pyre was lit by Rishabh, nephew of the deceased.

CM gave instructions to investigate every aspect

DM said that the Chief Minister has directed the officials to help the victim’s family and investigate from every aspect.
