Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. Major ports of the country will now be completely safe from cyber attacks. C3I Hub, the cyber security center of IIT Kanpur, has created an impenetrable shield for the security of ports.

Special “Maritime Cyber ​​Security System” training is also being given to the officers and technical staff deployed at the ports so that they can prepare as cyber warriors.

An important agreement has been signed between IIT Kanpur and Indian Ports Association (IPA). Under this, the scientists of the institute are training the technical staff to protect the port infrastructure from hackers and digital threats.

The first phase of training has been successfully completed. Employees are being taught how to identify and thwart modern cyber attacks.

These tools, working under the supervision of experts, will quickly identify attacks and make them ineffective. Tools developed by the C3I Hub and the institute’s startups are being used in port security.
