Jagran correspondent, Kanpur. To connect the youth of the state with future technology, the students studying in the state ITIs of the state will not be limited to only traditional studies, but will receive training on modern machines and industry-grade equipment.
An agreement has been signed between the Directorate of Training and Employment and “Sri Sri Rural Development Program Trust” and global company “Schneider Electric India Foundation” (SEIF).
Under this, a modern lab will be established in ITI. This will help in technically empowering ITI students.
Under this new scheme, it has been agreed to establish world class “Electrician Training Lab” and “Renewable Energy (Solar Energy) Lab” in 20 government ITIs of the state. Under this, 8250 students studying in all these 20 ITIs will be provided training in the next 3 years.
In these labs, students will be taught the intricacies related to solar water pump, hybrid solar system and industrial automation. In which students learn how solar panels are installed, how they are repaired and how automatic motor controllers work in big factories. Training will be given for this.
The work of establishment of this lab has started in ITI Pandunagar. Harish Kumar Mishra, Principal of Government ITI Pandunagar, said that this lab is being established in collaboration with Schneider Electric and Sri Sri Trust.
In this lab, students will learn advanced technologies like installation of solar panels, solar water pump, hybrid solar system and automation. Due to which it will become very easy for them to get employment in big multinational companies. This lab will be established in the next few days.
Government ITI labs will be built in these districts
Apart from Government ITI Pandunagar Kanpur, these modern labs will be established by Sri Sri Rural Development Program Trust in Government ITIs of Lucknow, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Noida, Agra, Mathura, Jhansi, Bareilly, Meerut, Prayagraj, Bareilly, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Genda, Bijnor, Sonbhadra and Azamgarh districts.
