Jagran correspondent, Sambhal. In Narauli village of Chandausi tehsil, a madrasa built illegally on village community land has been demolished. According to the administration, a madrasa in the name of Madrasa Banjari Kuan was operated six years ago on 225 square meter land of village society’s gata number 1635 and 1636.

After receiving the complaint, on September 8, 2023, the accountant measured the concerned land and sent a report of illegal occupation. Then orders for demolition were issued in June 2024, but the people of the Madrasa Committee went to appeal in the ADM Court.

Then after the appeal was rejected, now on Thursday, action is being taken to demolish the Madrasa under Section 67.

Under the leadership of SDM Ashutosh Tiwari, a team of two Naib Tehsildars and accountants reached the spot with two bulldozers and started the work of vacating the Madrasa and demolishing it.

The children studying in the madrassa have been shifted to another madrassa built on private land in the village itself. SDM told that this madrasa was built six years ago. Many houses are still built illegally in these two Gata numbers. Action will be taken against them also.
