Digital Desk, New Delhi. On the 5th day of the budget session in Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responded to the opposition’s allegations on the Governor’s address. Chief Minister Yogi said, “The image of the state did not suddenly get spoiled. Due to the special behavior of the Samajwadi Party, the daughters got scared, and the traders closed their businesses. Ghalib had also said that ‘I was forgetting this all my life. There was dust on my face and I kept cleaning the mirror’.”

Chief Minister Yogi said, “I thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to this discussion. I express my gratitude to all the members. A total of 92 members took part in the discussion, which included 60 members from the ruling party and 32 members including the leader of the opposition. Such meaningful debate and dialogue is the biggest strength of our democracy. I thank all those members who showed interest and used this legal platform for constructive dialogue. It is natural for the opposition to disagree.” But all the members, especially the party leaders, participated and maintained the dignity of the House. The Governor’s address at the beginning of the year is a document which reflects the achievements of the government and its future plans.”

Chief Minister Yogi said, “…it was this conduct which frightened the daughter and the businessman used to wrap up his business. A glimpse of it was seen during the address… The entire House of Uttar Pradesh is feeling hurt due to the conduct of the SP and the main opposition parties. There were very few times in the last 9 years when the proceedings of the House were disrupted…”
