Jagran correspondent, Rae Bareli. On the basis of the report sought by RPF regarding the incident of stone pelting on Vande Bharat train, the incident site has been found to be near Nayapurwa of the city. RPF has started the investigation from Friday.
Let us tell you that late evening on Monday (February 2), there was an incident of stone pelting in train number 22550 Vande Bharat Express train going from Prayagraj to Gorakhpur. Regarding this, RPF had demanded from Gorakhpur the CCTV footage installed on seat number 20 of bogie number C-6 of Vande Bharat Express.
RPF post in-charge AK Singh says that the CCTV footage arrived on Friday. According to its records, the incident occurred near Nayapurwa Pass between Railway Gate No. 27 and Daryapur. On the basis of this, the investigation has been handed over to RPF Sub Inspector Narsiram Gurjar. After the footage, investigation into the suspect has been launched. The person pelting stones will be arrested soon.
