Uttar PradeshNews:
Digital Desk, Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also changed the cover page of his social media account after the presentation of the budget of Uttar Pradesh. From Thursday, the cover page of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has become Brahmosamay.
It is believed that the Brahmosamay cover page will prove to give a big message in the election year. Through this photo, the Chief Minister has given the message that his administration is achieving the goals of development and law and order of the state with the same speed and accuracy for which BrahMos is known.
Symbols have always had a deep meaning in the political history of Uttar Pradesh, but Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s change to his social media banners in mid-February 2026 seems more like a strategic manifesto than a common courtesy. The appearance of a new photo of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile on the Chief Minister’s digital profile just a day after the presentation of Budget 2026-27 is not just a display of military might, but is a sign of the maturity of the ‘new Uttar Pradesh’ which is no longer limited to just agriculture and religious tourism, but has become an indispensable hub of the global defense supply chain. Yogi Adityanath’s strategic vision, economic rejuvenation and global statesmanship are being considered as ‘supersonic saffron rise’.
BrahMos sign: Confluence of power and self-reliance
By giving place to BrahMos missile on his banner, Yogi Adityanath has given a clear message that under his leadership, Uttar Pradesh has now come out of the image of ‘soft state’ and has become the center of building ‘hard power’. The flagging off of the first batch of BrahMos missiles from the Lucknow facility on October 18, 2025, with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh present, was a historic milestone that combined the state’s industrial identity with strategic importance. This missile is not just a weapon, but a living proof of India’s indigenous defense capabilities and the success of the ‘Make in India’ vision.
The BrahMos hub at Lucknow is an important strategic and economic achievement for the state. Spread over 200 acres at a cost of ₹380 crore in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow, the center has the capacity to produce about 100 to 150 missile systems per year. The economic impact of this project is also extremely wide-ranging; The estimated annual turnover of this unit is likely to reach ₹3,000 crore from the next financial year, which will yield an annual revenue of ₹500 crore to the state through GST alone.
