State Bureau, Lucknow. The Cabinet meeting has approved the RFP (Request for Proposal) for the Chitrakoot Link Expressway project. After this the construction of this expressway can be started soon. The construction of this 15.17 km long Green Field Link Expressway is likely to cost around Rs 513.97 crore. This expressway will connect Bharatkup of Chitrakoot with Bundelkhand Expressway.

After its construction, the connectivity of Chitrakoot Dham will be strengthened. This project is important in view of tourism. This project was approved in July last year. After the approval of the RFP, the way has been cleared for inviting tender for the selection of the construction company.

In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday, the proposal to issue Letter of Comfort for setting up a bio-plastic unit in Lakhimpur by Balrampur Sugar Mill was also approved.
