Who is Aaron George?
Many Indian players playing in this Under-19 World Cup have become quite famous. But this is not the case with 19 year old Aaron George. He was born in Kerala. However, he grew up in Hyderabad and also plays domestic cricket for there. He also captained his team in the 2022-23 Vijay Merchant Trophy. He scored 303 runs against Bihar. In the last two seasons of Vinoo Mankad Trophy, George has scored 341 and 373 runs. According to the report of Indian Express, someone gifted a plastic bat to Aaron George on his fourth birthday. He started playing with his new toy. Everyone was surprised to see that Aaron was not moving the bat here and there like normal children. His bat was moving straight. He used to play with that bat in the drawing room of the house. This was the beginning of his becoming a cricketer.
Aaron always got support from his father.
The role of his father Iso Varghese is very important in Aaron George becoming a cricketer. He himself wanted to become a cricketer but could not achieve success due to lack of support. He used to play cricket at local level. Earlier he was in the police but moved to the corporate sector so that he could concentrate fully on his son’s career.

The Indian team achieved the target in the 42nd over itself. This is the biggest run chase in Under-19 World Cup history. In 2006, New Zealand achieved the target of 305 runs against Ireland.
