Colombo: Warm-up matches are being played before the start of T20 World Cup 2026. Oman won against Sri Lanka A in the fourth warm-up match of the tournament. Oman won by 5 wickets in the match played at Colombo Cricket Club Ground. Playing first, Sri Lanka A scored 145 runs for 9 wickets. In reply, Oman achieved the target in 18 overs by losing 5 wickets.

Sri Lanka A, who came to play first after winning the toss, did not bat. Opener Sineth Jayawardena was out after scoring just 9 runs. Pulindu Perera could score 9 runs and wicketkeeper Pawan Sandesh could score 3 runs. Dulnith Sigera played an inning of 20 runs. All four batsmen were out in the powerplay itself. After the fall of 4 wickets for 49 runs, Gunasekara Senaviratnage Don Sahan Kosal and Kavija Gamage took over the innings. Both batted very slowly. Kosal scored 21 runs on 25 balls while Gamage scored 12 runs on 12 balls. In the end, Chamindu Wickramasinghe scored unbeaten 24 runs in 13 balls and took the team to 145 runs. Shah Faisal, Shakeel Ahmed and Jay Odedra took 2 wickets each.
