Russia’s Attack:Russia launched a fierce attack on Ukraine’s capital Kiev on Thursday. Hundreds of drones and missiles were used in this attack. As a result, at least 20 people died and many others were injured. A large amount of property has been damaged. Ukraine declared nationwide mourning on Friday.
In this attack, many buildings in Kiev were heavily damaged and caught fire. Thousands of people fled their homes and hid in underground bomb shelters, metro stations and various tunnels for safety. This was the second major attack on Kiev this year.
In this attack, Russia launched 496 drones and 74 missiles at Kiev. Ukraine’s Air Force destroyed most of them in the air. However, 25 ballistic missiles and 12 drones fell on 33 buildings. Volodymyr Zelesky, who went on a trip to Ireland, has returned to Kiev after stopping his trip midway. He warned the people of Kiev that Russia might attack again soon.
