Acharya Kuldeepji Maharaj on the sixth day of Sri Ram Katha held at Gujarat Lok Bhavan, Gandhinagar gave a moving account of the events of Ram-Vanvas and Ram-Bharat’s renunciation.
Shri Ram Katha: Legendary storyteller Acharya Kuldeepji Maharaj narrated the most poignant and emotional events of Ramayana – Sri Rama’s exodus to the forest, King Dasharatha’s incarnation and the incomparable brotherly love of Rama-Bharat on the sixth day of Sri Ram Katha held at Gujarat Lok Bhavan, Gandhinagar.
On the sixth day of the story, Acharyashri said, Lord Shriram’s exile is not just a coincidence, but it is the result of the principle of Karma Phal. During the night, King Dasharatha discussed with his mother Kaushalya about the curse given by Shravan’s parents and said that one has to suffer the fruits of karma. Acharyashri quoted the thoughts of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswatiji and explained that whatever we do in life, we get certain results. On the occasion of King Dasaratha’s suicide with the recitation of ‘Hail Ram, Hail Ram’, the audience was moved.

Talking about Bharat’s character, Acharyashri said that renunciation and dedication are always from both sides. When Bharata came to know the truth, he also scolded his mother Kaikeyi in harsh words. He renounced the authority of Ayodhya and headed for the forest to bring back Sri Rama. Acharyashri sang the glory of the brothers through a very beautiful line: Rajgadi ki gend banakar khelan lage khiladi, udhar ram ne idhar bharat ne dono ne thokar mari. On this occasion the resemblance between Rama and Bharata was clearly visible.
Finally, when Bharata could not bring Sri Rama back, he decided to return to Ayodhya with Sri Rama’s Charan Paduka on his head. He vowed that if Shri Raghuvir does not return to Ayodhya after 14 years, I will enter the fire. The eyes of all the townspeople present became wet after hearing the description of this incomparable brotherly love and commitment.
In the end, Acharyashri gave the message that Ramayana is not just a book, but a guide to living. If people have renunciation and dedication like Rama-Bharat, there can never be any clash in the society.
At the beginning of the program Governor Acharya Devvratji, Lok Sabha MP Parshottambhai Rupala, Chancellor of National Forensic Sciences University Padmashri Dr. J.M. Vyas, leading industrialist Padmashri Savjibhai Dholakia and social activist Ram Singh Kulhari unveiled the lamp and honored Acharya Kuldeepji Maharaj with fulhar.

Lady Governor Darshana Deviji, former Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, invited guests, Lok Bhavan family and citizens felt blessed to enjoy this emotional story.
