PM Modi inaugurated various development projects worth ₹820 crore in Tarkeshwar, West Bengal. He transferred the 23rd installment of PM Kisan of ₹18,880 crore to the accounts of 9.44 crore farmers across the country.
PMFBY: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of various developmental projects worth Rs 820 crore related to railways, roads, agriculture, rural development, fisheries and animal husbandry from the stage of the West Bengal Day ceremony at Tarakeshwar in Hooghly district on Saturday.
In this program, PM Modi has announced the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidha, under which Rs 18,880 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 9 crore 44 lakh farmers across the country.
More than 900 crore rupees have been transferred to the accounts of more than 45 lakh farmers in Bengal alone. So the total distribution amount under this scheme in the state has increased to more than Rs 15,000 crore.
After the initiation of this scheme in the year 2019, the amount of cool distribution across the country has increased to more than Rs 4.46 lakh crore. This is the first time that PM Modi has released the installments of Pradhan Mantra Kisan Samman Nidhi for the whole country from Bengal.
