A traffic block has been taken up by Western Railway due to the expansion work of platform number 4 and 5 at Vadodara station. Read this article to know which trains will reach Bajwa station on July 9 and 10 and which will be cancelled.
Vadodara Railway Station: Western Railway has undertaken large-scale development works at Vadodara station to modernize passenger convenience and train operations. In which after the successful completion of signaling system improvement and yard re-modelling work, now the civil work of extension of platform number 4 and 5 is going on fast. This operation has necessitated a railway traffic block, resulting in changes in timetables and routes of some trains on July 9 and 10, 2026.
List of Affected Trains (July 9 & 10, 2026)
Trains which are short terminated or short originated due to this modernization work of railways. Accordingly these trains will be affected.
Short Terminate / Short Originating Trains (Upto Bajwa Station)
- Train No. 19036 Ahmedabad-Vadodara Intercity Express will be short terminated at Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and canceled between Bajwa-Vadodara.
- Train No. 19035 Vadodara-Ahmedabad Intercity Express will originate short from Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and will be canceled between Vadodara-Bajwa.
- Train No. 22959 Vadodara-Jamnagar Intercity Express will short originate from Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and will be canceled between Vadodara-Bajwa.
- Train No. 22960 Jamnagar – Vadodara Passenger will be short terminated at Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and canceled between Bajwa – Vadodara.
MEMU Trains
- Train No. 69101 Vadodara-Vatwa MEMU will short originate from Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and will be canceled between Vadodara-Bajwa.
- Train No. 69115 Vadodara-Vatwa memo will short originate from Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and will be canceled between Vadodara-Bajwa.
- Train No. 69113 Vadodara-Vatwa memo will short originate from Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and will be canceled between Vadodara-Bajwa.
- Train No. 69107 Vadodara-Vatwa memo will short originate from Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and will be canceled between Vadodara-Bajwa.
- Train No. 69114 Vatwa-Vadodara memo will be short terminated at Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and canceled between Bajwa-Vadodara.
- Train No. 69108 Vatwa-Vadodara memo will be short terminated at Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and canceled between Bajwa-Vadodara.
- Train No. 69102 Vatwa-Vadodara MEMU will be short terminated at Bajwa station on July 09 and 10, 2026 and canceled between Bajwa-Vadodara.
Another change
Train No. 59549 Vadodara–Vatwa Passenger will depart from Pratapnagar station at 05:40 AM on July 09 and 10, 2026. This train will stop for 5 minutes between 06:25 AM to 06:30 AM at Vadodara station for the convenience of passengers.
