New Delhi: Before the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, Pakistan has whitewashed Australia at home. Australia was touring Pakistan for a three-match T20 series. However, they could not win a single match in the series and lost the series 3–0. The third T20 was played today i.e. on 1 February at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Pakistan defeated Australia by a huge margin of 112 runs. With this, Pakistan has also made a big record.

Pakistan recorded its third biggest win in T20 in terms of runs.

This is Pakistan’s third biggest win in T20 in terms of runs. Earlier, they had defeated West Indies by 143 runs in 2018 while they had defeated Hong Kong by 155 runs in 2022.

How was the condition of Pakistan-Australia match?

Pakistan captain Salman Ali Aga won the toss and decided to bat first at Gaddafi Stadium. In such a situation, he scored 207 runs for 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Saim Ayub played an inning of 56 runs. Babar Azam remained unbeaten after scoring 50 runs. Shadab Khan finally scored 46 runs in 19 balls. Ben Dwarshius took 2 wickets for Australia. Apart from this, Matthew Kuhneman, Matt Short, Cooper Connolly and Cameron Green got 1 wicket each.

Chasing the big target of 208 runs, the Australian team could not even score 100 runs. They were all out on the score of 96 runs in 16.5 overs. Marcus Stoinis scored the maximum 23 runs for Australia. Cameron Green also scored 22 runs. Apart from these two players, no Australian player could even reach the score of 20 runs. Mohammad Nawaz opened his paw for Pakistan while Shaheen Afridi took 2 wickets. Abrar Ahmed and Naseem Shah also got 1-1 wicket.
