India becomes the first team to win 10 consecutive matches in T20 World Cup

This was India’s 10th consecutive win against Namibia in the T20 World Cup. India has not lost a single match in the World Cup from 2024 to 2026. India has become the first country to win 10 consecutive matches in the T20 World Cup. Earlier, this record was jointly held by South Africa and Australia, who had won 8-8 consecutive matches.

Namibia were all out for 116 after scoring 209 runs.

Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, India scored 209 runs for 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Ishan Kishan scored the highest 61 runs. Hardik Pandya also played a stormy inning of 52 runs. Chasing the target of 210 runs, Namibia was all out for 116 runs in 18.2 overs. Varun Chakraborty took maximum 3 wickets for India. Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya did not take 2-2 wickets. Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dubey and Jasprit Bumrah also got 1 wicket each.
