India Action Against China:China has once again targeted India. A few days ago, India has started an anti-dumping investigation related to cheap steel imports from China. Similarly, there are now complaints about other products that are being poured into the Indian market in large quantities by China. Based on the complaints received in this regard, an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated.

India has initiated an anti-dumping investigation against imports of five products from China and other countries following various complaints related to domestic manufacturing. These five products include molded soda-lime glass vials, electric tractors with 6×4 and 4×2 axle configurations, cyanuric chloride, polyethylene terephthalate film larger than 100 microns and carbon risers made from anthracite coal.

From which companies the complaint was made

After receiving complaints against 5 products imported from China and other countries, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has started anti-dumping investigation.

A company named PGP Glass Ltd. applied for a dumping investigation regarding imports of molded soda-lime glass bottles from China. These vials are used in pharma industries to store injection drugs, vaccines and antibiotics.

Apart from this, IPLTECH ELECTRIC PVT LTD has also demanded an investigation against dumping of electric tractors by Chinese companies. These tractors are used for logistics and cargo transportation. As per DGTR’s notification, the petitioning companies have alleged that the dumped tractors are causing huge losses to the backyard companies.
