This shameful and tragic incident happened in a Muslim family living in Una city. A 50-year-old man named Khalil Daudbhai Kadiat living here was a heavy drinker. Today at noon he came to his house in a drunken state.
After reaching home, for some reason, he started a heated argument and fight with his wife Samimben. The quarrel became so violent that Khalil, in a drunken stupor, picked up a large stone lying in the house and hit his wife Samimben on the head.
As soon as the fatal stone hit, Samimben fell on the ground in a bloody state. He died on the spot due to severe injuries and excessive bleeding. After brutally murdering his wife, accused Khalil escaped from there in a state of intoxication.
No remorse for wife’s murder, naïve husband laughs in police custody
As soon as this sensational incident was reported, the Una police convoy immediately reached the spot. The police took quick action and nabbed the absconding accused husband within minutes. However, the most surprising and shocking thing in this incident was that the face of the accused did not show any remorse for brutally killing his wife.
