According to the data of Bihar Agristack, 30 lakh 19 thousand 649 farmers in the state have applied for Farmer Registry. Out of these, Farmer ID of 26 lakh 49 thousand 580 farmers has also been created. But this figure is only 34 percent. If we look at the latest figures, Farmer ID of 56 lakh 16 thousand 913 farmers has not been made yet. In such a situation, the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana given to these farmers may get stuck.
Special campaign started from today
Bihar government has been running a special campaign regarding farmer registration for the last one month with the aim of registering all the eligible farmers. Under this, special camps are being organized in all the gram panchayats. The third phase of the mega-campaign has started today from 2nd February, which will continue till 6th February. Despite this, lakhs of farmers have still not been able to complete the work of farmer registry.
Why are Farmer IDs not being made for farmers in Bihar?
The biggest problem that farmers are facing in getting Farmer ID made in Bihar is the non-matching of Jamabandi and Aadhaar card details. In many cases, the spelling of the name of the farmer in the Aadhaar card and the name of the farmer in the land papers are different. Similarly, the land in the name of ancestors is also not in the name of the applicants. There are difficulties in this work due to division of the family. Unless the information regarding land documents is matched with Aadhaar card, Farmer ID will not be generated. Farmers are busy making rounds from Agriculture Department to Land Revenue Department.

How to create farmer ID through mobile

- Now fill the information related to your land
- If your name is not there in the Jamabandi list on the portal, then click on the green button visible there.
- Submit and click on Verify All Land
- After this complete the e-sign process
When will the next installment of PM Kisan come?
The 21st installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana came on November 19 last year. PM Narendra Modi had transferred Rs 2,000 each to the accounts of farmers from Tamil Nadu. Now farmers are waiting for the 22nd installment of PM Kisan. It is believed that farmers will get updates regarding this only after half of February has passed. Last time also the installment of PM Kisan was transferred to the farmers’ accounts on 24th February.
