Devbhoomi Dwarka SOG has busted a big racket of sending banned RX pregabalin capsules abroad. In this action Rs. More than 9.5 lakh capsules worth Rs 80.77 lakh have been seized and the names of several accused have come up.
Devbhumi Dwarka: The team of Dwarka SOG Police has achieved great success in Devbhumi Dwarka district. In which a big racket of sending banned drugs abroad has been exposed.
In fact, a huge quantity of RX Pregabalin 450mg, 300mg and 150mg capsules, kept under control by the Government of India, has been seized. The preliminary investigation revealed that the quantity of this drug was being prepared to be sent to Yemen by sea.
An attempt was also made to send more medicine than the quantity mentioned in the bill by creating a false bill. In this entire racket, the investigation has been deepened by the names of some people from home and abroad.

A total quantity of 9 lakh 50 thousand 490 banned capsules has been seized during this operation conducted by Dwarka SOG. The estimated value of the seized quantity has been revealed to be more than 80 lakh 77 thousand rupees.
The investigation revealed that preparations were being made to send the quantity of drugs abroad without a Ship to Drugs license. Along with this, there was also an attempt to illegally export medicine without an import-export license.
Apart from Abdul Sheikh of Mumbai, the names of persons including Iqbal Bhaya, currently living in Dubai, Harit, a foreign citizen of Yemen, Mohammad Azharuddin Momin of Pune and Rajdev Singh Sodha of Khambhalia have come forward in this case. Apart from this, persons who made false bills and packed boxes have also been included as accused.
A case has been registered under Sections 316, 318, 336, 338 and 61 of BNS in this entire matter. Along with this, action has also been taken according to Section 18 and 27 of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act. Now the SOG has intensified the exercise to nab all the accused. This action in Devbhoomi Dwarka is being considered as a major blow to the illegal drug supply racket at the international level.
