There is great news for the farmers of Bihar. Keeping the promise made by JDU-BJP alliance before the assembly elections, a big announcement has been made in Bihar’s Budget 2026. 73 lakh farmers of the state will now get Rs 9000 instead of Rs 6000 in a year. State Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, while presenting the budget of Bihar on February 3, has announced to start Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi on the lines of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the beneficiaries of PM Kisan will get Rs 3000 separately in a year from the state government.
