Step-by-step recipe for making Garlic Potatoes
To Boil and Prepare Potatoes: First of all, boil potatoes well in a cooker with salt. Once the potatoes are cooked, peel them. If the potatoes are large, cut them into medium pieces.
Making the special garlic sauce: In a bowl take garlic paste, Kashmiri red chillies, coriander seeds, turmeric and salt to taste. Add some water to it and prepare a thick paste. Adding water will not burn the spices in the oil.
Potato Substitute: Heat oil in a pan. When the oil heats up, reduce the gas flame and add the prepared garlic paste. Fry this paste on low heat for 2 minutes until the oil separates. Now add the boiled potatoes and mix well so that all the spices are well coated on the potatoes. Let it simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. Finally add lemon juice and coriander and turn off the gas. Crispy Garlic Potatoes are ready.
Stir fry: Heat oil in another pan, fry the yellow beets on high flame.
Serving Style: Transfer the hot spicy garlic potatoes to a plate and serve with the fried bunglas. The fun of eating potatoes stuffed inside the bungla is something different!
