Bhavnagar: Residents of small towns like Talaja who are victims of cyber crime across the country are innocent. The bank account of a person who has a bank account is suddenly frozen.

In such a situation, the account of a woman who had an account in Axis Bank of Talaja was suddenly frozen. When they contacted the bank, it came to know that their account was currently minus more than 8 crores. According to the notification received by the bank from the interstate police, the account has been frozen, due to which the customer is suffering now.

In fact, the wife of Digvijay Singh Vala, a well-to-do farmer living in Talaja’s Darbargarh, has become a victim of cyber gout. Who has a Sevik account in Axis Bank here, in which his amount of four and a half lakh rupees was deposited.

In the meantime, as he needed money to pay the fees for his son’s studies, when he went to the bank, it was found that his account had been frozen. Hence, he asked the bank employees for the reason and found out that his account shows minus 8,03,72,409 rupees. So they could not get the money kept for their son’s fees.

When the woman account holder submitted the bank statement of the entire year, it was found that a transaction of 16 lakh rupees had taken place. In the case of cyber fraud, the bank account has been closed by the police.

Even though the woman has officially made a legitimate transaction of Rs 16 lakh, bank officials are repeatedly pushing her to reopen the account. At present, it has been stated that the bank has taken action through mail to open the account.
