Ahmedabad Patna Special Train: An important decision has been taken by the Western Railway keeping in view the ever increasing number of passengers and their convenience. The Ahmedabad-Patna weekly special train run by Western Railway has increased the frequency, which is a big relief for the passengers going to Bihar.

Change in trains and dates

  • Train No. 09447 (Ahmedabad–Patna Special): The train was earlier scheduled to run till June 24, 2026, but now it has been decided to extend it till July 01, 2026.
  • Train No. 09448 (Patna–Ahmedabad Special): The train was earlier operational till June 26, 2026, which has now been extended till July 3, 2026.

Booking and other details

The booking for the extended run of train number 09447 has now started. Passengers can book their tickets online from all PRS counters or through the official website of IRCTC.

The Railway Department has advised that passengers should check the technical details like train stoppages, timings and coach composition before travelling. For this passengers can visit the official website www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.
