After the cricket pitch, now the challenge of board exams
Neel Kishore, Principal of Podar International School, Samastipur, confirmed that Vaibhav has appeared in the examination and said that the admit card has been issued to him. The school administration has made it clear that even though Vaibhav has brought glory to the country at the international level, he will not be given any special concession at the examination centre. The security and facilities for Vaibhav will be the same as for a normal student, as it is an academic pitch.
Historic blast of 175 runs in the World Cup final
Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an incredible inning of 175 runs in just 80 balls against England in the Under-19 World Cup final played in Harare, Zimbabwe. In this innings, he made the record of most sixes in an innings by hitting 15 fours and 15 sixes. He also broke the record of South Africa’s Dewald Brevis by hitting a total of 30 sixes in the entire tournament. He was the second most successful batsman in the tournament with 439 runs.
History has been created in IPL and domestic cricket also
Vaibhav’s journey is not limited to Under-19 only. He is the youngest player of IPL, who was included in their team by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.1 crore. By scoring a century against Gujarat Titans in IPL, he became the youngest century scorer in this format. Apart from this, he has also set the record of being the youngest to score a century in Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare Trophy. Now it has to be seen how this player, who has set a series of records on the cricket field, performs on the examination pitch.
