Adani Group announced a record infrastructure investment of over ₹1.5 lakh crore at the 2026 AGM, which will contribute significantly to India’s growth journey. Gautam Adani described infrastructure and intelligence as key engines of growth, along with plans for the future in energy, ports, airports and the digital sector.
Adani Group AGM 2026:Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani while addressing the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 24 June 2026 has made several big revelations about the Group’s future strategy and its significant contribution to India’s growth journey. He said that the financial year 2025-26 has been extremely successful for the Adani Group despite the challenges. During the year, the group made a record capital investment of over 1.5 lakh crore on hard infrastructure development, accounting for over 30 per cent of the total investment by private companies in India.
Infrastructure and Intelligence: Two Major Engines of Growth
Gautam Adani’s keynote for this year’s address was ‘Accelerating Infrastructure and Harnessing the Power of Intelligence’. He clarified that strong infrastructure like roads, ports, airports and power plants strengthen the country, while intelligence facilities like data centers, artificial intelligence and digital platforms provide the country with the ability to lead globally.
Major achievements in power and energy sector
Adani Group is aggressively expanding its capabilities in the energy sector. Adani Power is investing over 2 lakh crores with a target of reaching 45 GW generation capacity in the next 5 years. In addition, an agreement has been reached with the Government of Bhutan to develop 5,000 MW of hydropower projects. Adani Atomic Energy’s entry into the nuclear power sector is a major step for India’s energy security, with a target of developing 10 GW capacity by 2035.
New milestones in ports and logistics
On the connectivity front, Adani Ports has created a new record by handling more than 50 crore tonnes of cargo. Vizhinjam Port crossed the 10 lakh TEU mark in its first year, the fastest achievement for any Indian port. In the airport sector, Navi Mumbai International Airport has become operational from December 2025, with a capacity of 9 crore passengers. This airport and the new terminal at Guwahati Airport have been included in the list of seven most beautiful airports in the world.
Digital Transformation and Defence
Adani data center business is moving towards becoming a 3 GW capacity platform by 2030. The agreement with Google for a data center in Visakhapatnam shows the confidence of global tech companies in the Adani Group. In defense and aerospace too, partnering with companies like Leonardo and Embraer is creating a helicopter and aircraft manufacturing ecosystem. Drones and missiles developed by the Adani Group provided vital support to the Indian security forces during Operation Sindoor.
Financial performance and social responsibility
Adani Group’s total consolidated revenue in FY 2025-26 has been Rs 2.92 lakh crore, representing a growth of 7.4%. Profit after tax rose 13.9% to Rs 46,376 crore. On the social front, Adani Foundation is reaching out to 10 million people in 7,000 villages across 22 states of the country. ‘Adani Health City’ is being built in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, which will have facilities like a 1,000-bed multi-specialty hospital and a medical college.
At the end of his address, Gautam Adani thanked the shareholders and 4 lakh employees, saying that the Group is fully equipped to accelerate India’s progress and will continue to contribute to nation building with new dreams and greater discipline in the future.
