65 lakh farmers got a shock in the Rajasthan budget, know what they got in the agriculture sector

The farmers of the state have got a big gift in the Rajasthan Budget 2026-27. 65 lakh PM Kisan beneficiaries of the state will now get Rs 12000 instead of Rs 9000 in a year. Farmers of Rajasthan get Rs 6000 per year under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Whereas Rs 3000 is given by the state government. Now it has been announced that this amount will be increased to Rs 6000. This means that farmers will now get Rs 12000 per year.

Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented the state budget today on February 11. Finance Minister Diya Kumari said that the agriculture budget has been increased by 7 percent. Many announcements were made for farmers in this budget, the biggest announcement of which was the increase in the amount given to CM Kisan. Remember that names of more than 6 lakh farmers have been removed from the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

These big announcements in the budget for farmers

  • A subsidy of Rs 160 crore will be given to purchase agricultural equipment.
  • Farmers will get a subsidy of Rs 228 crore for fencing 20 thousand kilometers to protect their crops from Nilgai or other wild animals.
  • The number of farmers in community fencing will be reduced from 10 to 7.
  • 2.50 lakh farmers will be given seeds of pulses and oilseed crops.
  • Vacant posts will be filled in agricultural universities
  • Loans worth Rs 25000 crore will be given under the Agricultural Loan Distribution Scheme.
  • Long term cooperative agriculture sector and non-farming sector will get 5% subsidy on loans worth Rs 590 crore.
  • A subsidy of Rs 700 crore will be given on the Chief Minister Milk Producer Sambal Yojana. 5 lakh cattle herders will get benefits.

Carbon Credit Scheme for Farmers

Farmers will be established as change agents to deal with the challenge of climate change. In this, farmers will be motivated to adopt better farming system. For this, a carbon credit pilot project for farmers will be run for the first time in the state.
