Recruitment examination for other posts including Junior Engineer in Railways will now be conducted in February instead of March. However, no change has been made in the timing of the exam.

Railway recruitment examinations will be held in three shifts. Each shift will be of one and a half hour i.e. 90 minutes. The first shift will run from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, the second shift will run from 12:45 pm to 2:15 pm and the third shift will run from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Exam City Slip and Admit Card

Railway Recruitment Board has released the exam city intimation slip on 10th February for information about exam city and date. Candidates can check and download it through the official website of RRB. However, admit cards will be released four days before the examination. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the website for latest information.

RRB JE Vacancy: Total 2588 vacancies

A total of 2588 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on CBT 1, CBT 2 written examination and document verification. CBT-1 is a screening test, the marks of which are not added to the final merit. CBT-2 is the qualifying round. Keep in mind that one-third marks will be deducted in the exam as negative marking.

Let us tell you that RRB had recently released the dates of JE as well as many other recruitment examinations. These include RRB Section Controller (CEN-04/2025) recruitment exam 11- 12 February 2026, RRB Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP-CEN 01/2025) recruitment exam 16,17, 18 February 2026, RRB Technician Grade I and III (CEN-02/2025) recruitment exam 05 to 09 March 2026 and RRB Para Medical Staff (CEN-03/2025) Recruitment Exam will be conducted on 10, 11, 12 March 2026.
