In Barsana, UP, on Shivratri, a child threw a stone at the youth taking Kanwar to the tune of DJ. Due to which a situation of tension was created between two communities in the village. On receiving information about the incident, the police appealed for peace. Some people have been detained by the police for creating ruckus. After which both the parties reached an agreement late in the evening. As a precautionary measure, police force was deployed in the village.

Muslim side opposed DJ
On Sunday morning, on Shivratri, youth brought Kanwar at Thanargat outpost Sahar. He was going to perform Jalabhishek in Shiv temple while playing DJ when he was passing in front of the mosque situated in the village when some people from the Muslim side opposed the DJ. Due to which a situation of tension was created.

Seven year old child threw stone
Seeing the tension building up, the elite people of the village pacified both the parties. After this the youth started walking with the DJ carrying the Kanwar, when a seven year old boy threw a stone from behind, the said stone hit a Kanwar. Due to which again a situation of tension was created.

On receiving information about the said incident, Hindu organizations reached the village. On receiving information about increasing tension from both sides, the police force reached the village. Where the police explained to both the parties. After that peaceful tension remained in the village. The police have detained some people who created the ruckus.

PAC deployed
Police station in-charge Ashwani Kumar said that after the incident of stone throwing by a seven-year-old child, a situation of tension was created in the village. The police explained to both the parties. After this, both the parties reached an agreement late in the evening. To ensure that tension does not arise again, police force along with PAC was deployed in the village.
