Meta has launched a new AI feature in the Facebook app, allowing users to make their static profile picture animated in seconds. With the help of Meta AI, photos will now appear to be waving, wearing a party hat or coming to life with confetti. This feature is gradually being rolled out to users who have Meta AI access. Now your photo will feel like not just a face, but a small video expressing your feelings.
How will this feature work?
Meta has made this very easy. All you have to do is tap on your profile picture and select the animation option. If you want your photo to wave hands, wear a party hat or have confetti (colored paper) fall on it, you can create such animation for free in minutes. For better results, choose a photo in which the face is clear and looking straight towards the camera. After this you will see a smart change. Meta AI will process your photo in seconds and turn it into a moving image like a GIF, which you can also share on your feed or story.

Not only profile, stories and posts also became smart
Meta has also added some more enhancements in this update. As:
1. Photo Restyle: Now you can transform your memories and stories into preset styles like anime or ethereal lighting. Just give a text prompt and the background or theme of the photo will change.
2. Animated background: When writing text on Facebook feed, you can now choose an animated background like waves or falling leaves instead of a plain color.

When and who will get this feature?
According to Meta, this feature is being rolled out gradually. Users who have access to Meta AI can use it now, but for those who do not have access to Meta AI, special seasonal animations will also be added for some upcoming festivals like Diwali, Holi.
