Because of AI, today all types of tech companies, big and small, are laying off employees. AI has made tasks easier that previously required more employees. This has not only increased the speed of work manifold but also saves the expenses of the companies. Aaron Sneed, a defense-tech entrepreneur from Florida, has gone one step further and changed the entire workforce. Instead of paying salary to any human being in his company, Sneed is employing Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents. He has handed over the responsibility of important departments of his company like HR, supply chain, legal, and quality control to different AI agents.

Virtual team of 15 agents

Sneed has named this system ‘The Council’. It includes about 15 specially trained AI agents. At the heart of this team is a ‘Chief of Staff’ agent, who sets priorities and ensures that critical matters such as security and legal are dealt with first. According to Sneed, the system saves him about 20 hours a week, making it much easier for a single founder to run a business.

The biggest feature of these AI agents is that they have been created not just to follow orders but to find shortcomings. According to Sneed, AI agents have been trained to not just say yes, but to challenge their thinking and catch mistakes they couldn’t see. Based on technology from OpenAI and Nvidia, these agents hold virtual roundtable meetings among themselves and discuss any proposal in-depth.
