method of making
- First of all, wash the bottle thoroughly and remove its label. The bottle should be completely dry and clean so that the lights and decorations can be seen clearly.
- Now make a butterfly layout on paper and cut out many butterflies. Now stick these butterflies at different places all over the bottle.
- Now apply white color on the entire bottle with the help of a sponge or a rough cloth. Pat the color on so that the bottle has a rough and blurry texture. During this time, colors have to be applied on butterflies also.
- When the paint dries a little, carefully remove the butterflies from the surface of the bottle. You will see that where the butterflies were stuck, the glass is completely clean and the rest of the bottle looks white and rough.
- Now fold the taken out butterflies a little from the middle. This will give them a lift and make them look absolutely real.
- Apply a little glue only to the center of these folded butterflies and re-stick them on top of the neat shapes on the bottle.
- Since the wings will be open, it will appear as if real butterflies are flying on the bottle.
- In the last step, put fairy lights inside the bottle. As soon as the lights are switched on, the light filtering through the empty parts of the butterflies and the 3D butterflies sitting on top will create a magical atmosphere.
